В статье приводятся результаты педагогического эксперимента по развитию познавательной компетенции у студентов-лингвистов в рамках проектной деятельности по зарубежному переводоведению. Актуальность исследования обусловлена недостаточной сформированностью интеллектуальных и организационно-регулятивных умений, обеспечивающих продуктивную самостоятельную учебно-познавательную деятельность в условиях информационно-цифровой среды. В работе представлена методика организации самостоятельной работы студентов в рамках проектного модуля с применением элементов микрообучения. Достижение высокого уровня сформированности заявленных умений на завершающем этапе эксперимента подтверждается результатами студенческого проекта – анализом переводческих трансформаций, выполненным на материале англоязычной компьютерной игры.

The article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment aimed at fostering cognitive competence in linguistics students through project-based learning in the field of foreign translation studies. The relevance of the research stems from the insufficient development of intellectual and organizational-regulatory skills required for effective self-directed learning in a digitally mediated educational environment. The study proposes a methodology for structuring students’ independent work within a project module incorporating elements of microlearning. The development of the targeted competencies was assessed at the final stage of the experiment and demonstrated through the outcomes of students’ project work, specifically a translation analysis of translation transformations based on material from an English-language digital game.
